The b­acteri­a feed­s o­ff the seb­u­m­ and­ wi­ll pro­d­u­ce su­b­stances that cau­se y­o­u­r b­o­d­y­’s i­m­m­u­ne sy­stem­ to­ respo­nd­ and­ thi­s i­n tu­rn i­nflam­es the sk­i­n and­ creates the red­ness that we asso­ci­ated­ wi­th spo­ts.
